Our sister company Sheffield Food Tours has launched with two new fantastic experiences to choose from…

After 5 years in operation around Kelham, I have finally rolled out our food tours to the city centre! We have been blown away by the positive feedback from guests over the years and are excited to welcome you back on our new city centre routes.

There are two city centre tours available to book from August - A Taste of Sheffield and History & Brunch City Centre. Find out more below…

Kelham Island Food Tours isn’t going anywhere and will run alongside Sheffield Food Tours as a brand for the foreseeable future.

A Taste of Sheffield Food Tour

This guided walking food tour of Sheffield City Centre incorporates food, drink, local history & culture! A fun and insightful afternoon for Sheffield residents and visitors alike who will see Sheffield from a whole new perspective. This tour starts on Saturday 31st August and runs twice a month.

This 4-hour tour takes guests on a culinary and historical journey in the city centre, visiting five venues and taking in landmarks and places of interest in the Steel City. 

Guests enjoy 4 small plates and a special drink tasting session, sampling a range of different cuisines, discovering the hidden gems serving some of the best food in Sheffield!

History and Brunch walking tour in Sheffield City Centre

This 3-hour History and Brunch Tour of Sheffield City Centre will take you back through time where you will visit a number of locations that played a role in Sheffield's history, finishing with a delicious sit-down brunch. 

A keen local history enthusiast, Peter your guide will take you on a journey right back to Norman times with tales of Sheffield Castle and the Duke of Norfolk’s time in the city and legacy. Hear about Queen Victoria's visit to the city and her reluctance to leave the carriage as it was too dirty! Take in buildings that tell a story of of the city's rich industrial heritage, find out how Barkers Pool got it's name and view the city from a completely different perspective.

The last hour of this tour will be spent enjoying a leisurely brunch at Birdhouse Tea.
