The Shop & Cook Experience takes place in a new purpose built cookery school in Sheffield City Centre where expert guidance is provided by the in-house chef. Gin School

Become a distiller for a day with an immersive gin making experience at Locksley Distilling. Their fully kitted out gin school just outside the city-centre, offers a gin making experience where guests create their own recipe with over 100 botanicals at their disposal. The experience also includes a distillery tour, a tasting session and a couple of gin & tonics during the day to get the creative juices flowing!

House of Joro Chef’s Table

Included in the 2023 Michelin Guide, Joro is a 3 AA rosette fine-dining restaurant offering exceptional 7 or 9 course tasting menus. Set in the unpretentious Krinkl building on the edge of Kelham Island, Chef Owner Luke French (who has appeared on Great British Menu) also offers a chef’s table dining experience for up to ten guests at their boutique hotel, House of Joro, located just across the road.

Chocolate Factory Tour, Talk & Tasting

Sheffield’s first and only bean-to-bar chocolate maker Bullion was founded by young entrepreneur Max Scotford in 2017. From a Claridges chef claiming it was the best chocolate he had ever tasted, to bagging Harvey Nicholls and Chatsworth Estate as some of their prestigious customers, Bullion has gone from strength to strength during it’s relatively short existence. Their Kelham Island based chocolate factory offers a tour and tasting experience which makes a great addition to a corporate food tour. Guests gain insight into the intricate process of craft chocolate making and enjoy samples of their exceptional award-winning bars.

If it’s some healthy competition you are looking for then Boom Battle Bar in Sheffield City Centre, offers a fun range of team games including axe throwing, augmented reality darts, pool, shuffle board and crazy golf.

Golf Fang (also in the city centre) offers 18 holes of pure entertainment surrounded by bespoke art a resident DJ and a comprehensive cocktail list.

The Great Escape Game has immersive escape rooms including Sunmerges, Wizards of Time, The Haunted Hound and Run. Their cocktail bar with a spooky-themed menu provides the perfect spot to wind down after the game.

Outdoor Activities

Take the team paddleboarding or kayaking on the Sheffield Canal with DC Outdoors Off The Shelf Adventures. The Outdoor City SUP experience starts in the heart of Sheffield at the historic Victoria Quays. Once  the team have had a quick introduction to the equipment you will go on a small journey along the Sheffield and Tinsley Canal.

With the edge of the Peak District sitting about 8 miles from Sheffield City Centre, your team can enjoy the fresh air and scenery of the Peak District and then come back to the city for a night on the town.

Hathersage is one of the closest Peak District villages to Sheffield and offers a charming village centre with a range of bars and restaurant such as Bank House and The George and a plethora or outdoor activity providers.
